The origin of Mozzarella cheese is a mistery. The first stretched curd cheese, mozzarella most likely had its origins with nomadic tribes of the Middle East. This style of cheese gradually spread across Europe to the Mediterranean.

 

Our Mozzarella is a pasta filata cheese with a mild, delicate flavor and a slight salty taste. This high quality natural cheese product provides excellent stretch and melting characteristics. 

 

Mozzarella is most famous as a pizza topping but it also goes great with mashed potatoes, oven-baked meals or added to omelettes, soufflés, gratins, fondues etc. The taste, quality and versatility of this cheese know no bounds.

 

Primary use

For pizzas, toasted sandwiches, pasta-dishes, salads.
