A mellow and nutty cheese Emmentaler is one of the most common types of cheese used today.

You will easily spot this type of cheese by the ‘eyes’ or holes in its body.These “eyes” will vary in size, depending on the cheesemaking method.

 

It’s a great snacking cheese all by itself or even with sweet fruits, such as apples, pears and grapes. Emmentaler is commonly used in sandwiches, quiches and casseroles due to its excellent melting properties

Cheese plate, sandwiches, fondue, casseroles.
