Our History

Since its beginning in 2001, Quantum has developed a strong core which now more than two decades later is the DNA of our company and permeates everything we do.
Our origins trace back to a vision of a trading company that thrives on fostering client relationships through genuine interest and a flexible approach. With an unwavering commitment to mutual growth, Quantum started on a journey to serve its clients with sincere dedication.
As a result of a longer successful partnership with the prominent European dairy leader, Rücker GmbH decided to buy initial shares in Quantum. In January 2011, the acquisition became a reality.
This marked a pivotal moment, where we assumed the role of their dedicated sales office, entrusted with shaping their overseas markets.
Our partnership's success is built on two pillars: exceptional products and boundless commitment.

Throughout our journey, Quantum has expanded its supplier network and is today sourcing products both within and outside EU.

Introducing Rücker GmbH: The family dairy company since 1890.
Since its establishment in 1890, Rücker GmbH has embraced its heritage as a family business. Our commitment to tradition is woven into the fabric of our identity, with cheesemaking representing our craft handed down through generations.
With state-of-the-art production facilities in Aurich and Wismar, Rücker symbolizes skill and top-quality. Our expertise is defined by the meticulous process and dedication that goes into every product we create.
Our excellence is evident in our cutting-edge production plants, where innovation meets flexibility.
Processing an astounding 800 million kg of milk annually, our offerings include 45,000 tonnes of Yellow Cheese, 50,000 tonnes of White Cheese, 20,000 tonnes of Milk Powder, and 20,000 tonnes of Butter.
Our team of 558 employees, including 47 apprentices, embodies our dedication to excellence. This commitment has earned us recognition as 'Germany's Best Employer 2021,' as well as the distinction of being the 'Enterprise of the Year 2022' by Focus Money.
We take pride in our sustainability initiatives, boasting 100% recyclable packaging and a commitment to quality that includes 1800 quality checks per product. Our short transport links and the use of guaranteed coast-side farmer's milk underscore our dedication to eco-conscious practices.
